Background:
Dr. Pregont is a graduate of National University of Health Sciences (Chicago, IL)where he received his doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. While at NUHS he also received certification for the fitting of foot orthotics, the application of kinesiotape for numerous soft tissue conditions, and golf fitness. He also received a bachelor’s degree in human biology.
Dr. Pregont is also a graduate of Elmhurst College (Chicago, IL) where he studied Sports Medicine and was a member of the baseball team. While at Elmhurst he helped run many baseball clinics put on by the school. Dr. Pregont also had the opportunity to be a staff member as an athletic trainer at Michael Jordan’s basketball camp held at Elmhurst College each summer. While working as a student trainer, he was assigned to the baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s soccer, football, and wrestling teams.
Dr. Pregont was born in Wausau, WI where he grew up enjoying baseball, hockey, football, golf, and most other sports. He also enjoys fishing, boating, and relaxing by the lake. He still enjoys playing baseball, softball, golf, and hockey recreationally.
Dr. Pregont’s mission in practice is to “Further the education of the both the public and medical community in regards to chiropractic. Chiropractic still faces numerous problems today that are due to people’s lack of knowledge in the subject. As human beings, we are naturally afraid of what we do not understand. I hope to see the day when going to your chiropractor is as normal and accepted as going to your dentist.”
