Adjustment Techniques:
Dr. Lee is trained and well practiced in many different chiropractic techniques. Dr. Lee utilizes the following techniques to provide maximum comfort and effectiveness for patients.
Diversified Technique:
The main and most common technique used by Chiropractors that focuses on high velocity and low amplitude thrusts to restore joint range of motion and alignment. Diversified technique encompasses a wide range of chiropractic techniques in order to provide the most effective results. These techniques are designed to deliver maximum comfort and maximum effect to many different body types and joints.
Not all adjustments work the same for every person due to the differences in physical size and anatomical dimensions of both the doctor and patient. Some adjustments that work well for an athletic patient may not be as easy to do on someone with a 'few extra pounds'. Diversified technique utilizes many different ways to perform an adjustment on an area to deliver the same result.

Thompson Technique:
This technique utilizes body and table mechanics to provide a very gentle and subtle adjustment. A special table is used which allows the Doctor to gently adjust joints using momentum.
Cox Flexion Distraction:
A very effective traction technique that is a favorite for patients with disc bulges and disc herniations. Very concise traction is focused on a specific area to create maximum mobility to restore function. A special traction table is used that allows the Doctor to gently provide relief to restricted spinal areas. This technique is very specific and considered one of the most effective ways to treat bad disc problems in the lumbar spine.
Gonstead Technique:
A very specific technique designed to restore motion. Emphasizing biomechanics, this technique represents stronger adjustments to specifically correct mis-alignments. Regarded as a very strong technique, this technique is reserved for the most physical skilled and adept of chiropractors.
Activator Technique:
This technique utilizes a mechanical instrument that delivers a very specific thrust to a very specific joint area. This technique is favored for elderly patients or patients that can't receive manual techniques due to osteoporosis or trauma. The instrument resembles a hand held tool that very gently delivers a quick, specific thrust to correct spinal and joint dysfunction.
Once again, not all techniques and moves work for everyone the same way. It is therefore very important to know several ways to solve a problem.
